Amish Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. soup beans
    1 ham bone
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    dash of garlic salt
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Soak beans in water overnight; drain.
    Add fresh water and cook slowly with the ham bone for 2 hours.
    Add onion, celery salt, seasoning salt, garlic salt, salt and pepper.
    Remove ham bone; trim off any meat and return to pot.
    Add ham bits and simmer for 1 hour.
