Easy Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. regular rice (uncooked)
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
    2 3/4 c. water
    1 (2 to 3 lb.) broiler-fryer, cut up
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. oleo, cut into 1/8-inch slices
Preparation
    Sprinkle rice in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Combine soup and water; pour over rice.
    Place chicken pieces, skin side up, in baking dish.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Place a piece of butter on each piece of chicken.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Yield: 6 servings.
