Turtle Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. turtle meat
    1/2 Tbsp. lard or oil
    1/2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 tomatoes
    1 onion
    thyme
    parsley
    bay leaf
    1 clove garlic
    allspice
    1 sq. ham
    2 hard-boiled eggs
    2 slices lemon
    2 qt. water
    sherry wine to taste
    salt to taste
    cayenne pepper to taste
Preparation
    Boil meat until tender; save liquid for soup.
