Shaker Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large lemons, sliced very thin
    4 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. sugar
    2 (9-inch) pie crusts (crust for top and bottom of pie)
Preparation
    Slice
    lemons
    as thin as paper, rind and all.\tCombine lemons with
    sugar.
    Let
    stand at least 2 hours or preferably overnight. Stir
    occasionally.
    Add\tbeaten\teggs
    to
    lemon mixture;
    mix well.
    Pour
    into
    pie
    shell,
    arranging lemon slices evenly. Top
    with
    top crust.
    Cut slits in crust near center.
    Bake
    in a 450\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 375\u00b0 and
    bake about 20 minutes more until knife inserted near edge
    comes
    out\tclean. Cool before serving.
    Very different but very delicious.
