Ingredients

2 eggs, separated
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 tsp. lemon peel
1 Tbsp. melted butter
1/4 c. flour
1 c. milk
Preparation

Beat egg yolks; add sugar, 1/4 cup at a time, beating well after each.
Blend in lemon juice, peel and butter.
Add flour and milk.
Beat well.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in.
Pour into an 8-inch ungreased pan.
Place in larger pan and fill outer pan with boiling water as far up as the batter.
Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
