Fruit Coffee Cake With Streusel Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    1 1/2 c. sifted enriched flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs.
    Add flour sifted with baking powder and salt alternately with milk.
    Spread batter in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Evenly distribute pie filling or apple slices over the batter and top with Streusel Topping.
    Bake for 40 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until cake is set and topping is golden brown.
