Apple Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) deep dish frozen pie shell
    1 egg yolk, lightly beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    7 to 9 tart apples, peeled, cored and sliced
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/3 c. butter
    1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    cinnamon (optional)
Preparation
    Let pie shell thaw 5 minutes at room temperature.
    Remove shell from metal pie tin and transfer to 9-inch microwave-safe glass or ceramic pie plate, pressing dough firmly against side and bottom of pan.
    Brush with egg yolk.
    Prick in several places with fork.
    Cook in microwave on High until shell is crisp, about 6 to 7 minutes (a few brown spots may appear).
