Ingredients

1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 (16 oz.) can sliced beets, reserve liquid
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Add vinegar and reserved beet juice; simmer, stirring constantly until thickened.
Add beets and butter.
Serve hot.
