Chocolate Mousse Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1 c. cake flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. hot water
    2 c. cream
    4 Tbsp. cold water
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
    1 1/2 tsp. unflavored gelatin
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
Preparation
    In double boiler, melt chocolate over hot water (not boiling). Let cool.
    In bowl, mix flour, sugar, soda and salt.
    Add shortening and sour cream; beat 2 minutes.
    Add egg, vanilla, melted chocolate and hot water.
    Beat for 2 minutes.
    Pour in 2 (8-inch) pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool and refrigerate.
