Ingredients

2 c. raw peanuts
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cold water
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

In a saucepan, over medium heat, combine peanuts, sugar and water.
Cook.
Stir until mixture crystallizes and coats peanuts, about 10 minutes.
Spread in an 11 x 15-inch buttered cookie sheet.
Sprinkle with salt.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and lift and turn them over and over.
Bake another 15 minutes and cool.
Makes 4 cups.
