Corn Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    18 medium ears of corn
    4 large onions
    1 large head cabbage
    3 green or red peppers
    1/2 c. salt
    1 3/4 lb. sugar
    2 qt. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. ground mustard
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Cut corn from cob.
    Chop cabbage, onions and peppers. Cook 15 minutes using very little water. Add corn, sugar, salt, celery seed and vinegar.
    Mustard moistened with vinegar should be added last.
    Cook until corn is tender, about 30 minutes.
    While hot, pack into jars and seal.
