Ingredients

frozen pastry shell (9-inch)
12 slices fried bacon
1 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
1/3 c. chopped onion
4 eggs
2 c. half and half *
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pie shell.
beat eggs slightly.
Beat in remaining ingredients.
Pour egg mixture into pie plate.
Cook, uncovered, in a 425\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 300\u00b0.
Cook, uncovered, until knife inserted in middle comes out clean, about 30 minutes.
