1-2-3-4 Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. unsalted butter, softened
2 c. sugar
3 c. cake flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
Preparation

Cream together the butter and sugar.
Add egg yolks, beating briefly.
Add vanilla; mix well.
Alternately add the flour mixture (flour, baking powder and salt) with the milk, mixing gently.
Beat egg whites to soft peak, then gently fold them into the batter.
