Grandma'S Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
    3 egg yolks (reserve whites)
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 to 1 c. sugar
    1/2 gal. milk (approximate)
Preparation
    Mix in 3-quart saucepan, condensed milk, egg yolks, flour and vanilla; mix well.
    Cook until hot, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
    Remove from heat and let cool.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Pour milk mixture into ice cream freezer; add beaten egg whites and sugar.
    Follow ice cream freezer directions for freezing.
