Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 orange (rind and juice)
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    water
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. cranberries, sliced
Preparation
    Add water to orange rind and juice and shortening to make 3/4 cup.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Beat egg slightly; add to the liquids.
    Then add to dry ingredients; stir well.
    Add cranberries last.
    Pour into greased loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 70 minutes.
