Pineapple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (8 oz.) crushed pineapple (undrained)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream margarine; gradually add sugar, beating well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with pineapple.
    Mix well.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Spoon batter into a greased and floured loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes to an hour or until wooden pick inserted in middle comes out clean. Cool loaf in pan for 10 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
    Makes 1 loaf.
    Serve with cream cheese as an extra.
