Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. salad oil
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. pecans or black walnuts
    3 c. sour cooking apples, chopped
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
Preparation
    In large bowl mix well salad oil, eggs and sugar.
    In separate bowl, sift together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and baking powder. Stir in nuts and chopped apples.
    Mix well.
    Spread mixture in a greased 11 x 9-inch pan.
    Distribute butterscotch chips on top of cake.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
    Cool and cut into squares.
    For best results, bake 1 day before serving.
