Caramel Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. butter flavor Crisco
2 qt. popped popcorn (8 c.)
1/3 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. unsalted peanuts or pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Generously grease a 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.
Blend sugar, corn syrup, butter flavor Crisco and vanilla.
Cook over medium heat 2 minutes or until light and foamy, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Add popcorn, tossing to coat.
Spread in greased pan.
Bake for 8 minutes. Turn and toss.
Return to oven an additional 7 minutes.
Cool in pan.
Break into bite size pieces.
