Jamaican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. corn meal
    2/3 to 1 tsp. salt
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    6 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Beat egg, melt margarine and mix both with milk.
    Add to dry ingredients.
    Beat mix until well blended. Pour into greased tin.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
