Pop'S Hush Puppies(Ottis Bounds) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 red Delicious apple, finely chopped
2 eggs, beaten
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/4 to 1/2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
approximately 3/4 c. cornmeal (80%)
approximately 1/4 c. flour (20%)

Preparation

Mix cornmeal, flour and seasonings.
Add eggs, apple and onion.
Stir in milk.
Mix well.
Drop by teaspoonful into hot grease.
