Tante Neelkjen'S Cookies(Aunt Nellie'S Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. milk
    3/4 tsp. soda
    3/4 c. butter (no substitute!)
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter; add milk.
    Add sifted flour and soda, pecans and vanilla.
    Mix well and shape into rolls.
    Roll in waxed paper and chill several hours or overnight.
    Slice in thin slices and bake on greased cookie sheet in 350\u00b0
    oven for about 10 minutes.
