German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 pounds of potatoes cooked and sliced
    1 cup water
    1 cup sugar
    3 tablespoons cornstarch
    1 tablespoon chopped onion
    1 cup vinegar
    1/4 cup bacon (fried crisp and crumbled)
    2 teaspoon oil
Preparation
    Mix the onion and bacon with cooked potatoes and set aside. Cook the water, sugar, cornstarch, vinegar and oil until thicken. Pour over potatoes and mix.
    Serve.
