Blackberry Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. butter
    3 eggs, beaten in one at a time
    3 c. flour, sifted with 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. cloves and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. homemade blackberry jam
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda in a little cold water
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Beat mixture. Add jam and mix well. Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk; add soda in water. Mix well and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
