Hash Brown Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash browns
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. onion, chopped fine
    1/2 c. oleo or butter
    8 oz. sour cream
    8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together and put in buttered casserole or 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    May be topped with crushed potato chips and baked another 5 to 10 minutes.
