Apple Sour Cream Ring - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
2 medium cooking apples, peeled
1/2 c. oleo
2 c. flour
1 c. sour cream
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
Preparation

In small bowl combine nuts, cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar; set aside.
Thinly
slice apples; set aside.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Grease
a
9-inch tube pan.
Beat oleo with 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy.
Add flour and remaining ingredients. Beat
at low
speed\tuntil
blended.
Constantly scrape bowl. Increase speed
to
medium;\tbeat
3 minutes.
Spread half of batter in pan.
Sprinkle with 1/3 of nut mixture, then sliced apples. Sprinkle
apples
with
1/3
of
nut mixture.
Spread evenly
with remaining\tbatter.
Sprinkle
with remaining nut mixture.\tBake for
55
to
60
minutes.
Cool in pan on wire rack.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
