Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium-sized squash
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 small onion
    grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    6 to 8 crushed saltine crackers
    1 small bag dressing
Preparation
    Slice squash and onion; add teaspoon of salt.
    Cook about 10 to 15 minutes or until tender.
    Drain and mash.
    Add butter, sour cream, soup, pepper and crushed crackers.
    Pour in buttered casserole dish.
    Top with grated cheese.
    Sprinkle dressing on cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
