Cowboy Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. pinto beans
2 lb. cooked ham
1 onion, chopped
1 green chili pepper, chopped
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. tomato paste
Preparation
-
Soak beans overnight.
Place in 12-quart saucepan and cover with water.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer until tender. Sample beans while cooking and add water as needed.
