Okra Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. cut okra
1 to 2 onions, diced
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. flour
3 tsp. meal
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg

Preparation

Mix together all ingredients, except egg.
Drop by spoonfuls into hot grease.
Cook until brown.
