Dutch Santa Claus Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. margarine or 1/2 lb. butter with 1/2 lb. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 c. flour
    4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. sour cream with 1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix ingredients and knead into a loaf or roll.
    Set overnight in refrigerator.
    Cut in slices and bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0).
