Curried Chicken Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 green onions, chopped
    1 red pepper, sliced
    1/2 lb. fresh green beans
    1 bay leaf
    2 Tbsp. curry powder
    2 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 lb. cooked chicken
    1/3 c. blanched, slivered almonds
    3 c. cooked rice
    canola or peanut oil
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    1 can baby corn (rinsed)
    sesame oil
Preparation
    Trim green beans and cut into 1-inch lengths on the diagonal. Cut chicken into bite size pieces.
    Using a hot wok, toast almonds in a small amount of vegetable oil.
    Set aside.
    Cook chicken in same oil*, remove.
    Add more oil, cook remaining ingredients, except rice.
    Return chicken and almonds to pot.
