Skillet Lasagna(From Maude Smith) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 c. finely chopped onions (optional)
    1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
    1 can tomatoes, undrained (I prefer 1 small can tomato paste)
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 lb. cottage cheese (Ricotta cheese)
    1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced or grated
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cook lasagna according to package directions.
    Drain.
    Brown meat, onions and garlic in skillet at 325\u00b0.
    Add seasonings and mix thoroughly.
    Turn off heat.
