Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Granny Smith apples
    1 can Pillsbury crescent rolls
    1/8 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. orange juice
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Peel and core apples; cut into fourths. Unroll and separate crescent rolls. Wrap each piece of apple in one crescent roll. Place in 8-inch square baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Combine margarine, sugar and orange juice in saucepan; bring to a boil and remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Pour over rolls; bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Spoon pan juice over rolls when serving.
