Tomato Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. oil
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 tomatoes, chopped*
    1 c. chicken broth
    pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Combine onions and oil in skillet.
    Cook on high for 3 or 4 minutes; whisk in flour.
    When this starts to brown, add tomatoes. Stir until it thickens.
    Add broth slowly, stirring constantly. Cook until desired consistency.
    Add salt and pepper.
