Ingredients

2 c. dried apples
4 egg yolks
4 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp melted butter
dash of salt (about 1/8 tsp.)
1- 10 inch unbaked pie shell
Preparation

In mixing bowl combine the apples, egg yolks, flour, sugar, milk, vanilla, butter and salt.
Mix well.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 35 to 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean when inserted into center of custard.
Remove from oven and top with meringue.
