Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
    8 oz. tomato paste
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    shredded cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat, onions and garlic together in large skillet; drain excess fat.
    Add all remaining ingredients, except cheese. Cover and simmer 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
