Taco Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. light sour cream
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. light cream cheese
    1 pkg. dry green onion dip
    1/2 pkg. taco seasoning (like Ortega)
    pinch of salt
    2 to 3 c. shredded or chopped lettuce
    1 to 2 large chopped tomatoes
    8 oz. pkg. hard Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 to 2 bags taco or tortilla chips
Preparation
    Beat sour cream, cream cheese, onion dip, taco seasoning and salt together for 10 minutes.
    Spread on a flat type serving plate and refrigerate at least 1 hour to firm mixture.
    Sprinkle chopped lettuce, tomatoes and shredded Cheddar over dip.
    Serve with taco chips for dipping.
