Pecan Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. syrup
    lump of butter (size of walnut)
    1 pkg. chopped dates
    4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cook the first 4 ingredients together slowly until it forms a solid ball in cold water.
    Add the dates and pecans.
    Spoon onto well floured (or powdered sugar) surface; shape in long roll shape. Store in refrigerator.
