2 Egg Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
    Put shortening in large mixing bowl and cream until softened.
    Add dry ingredients, milk and vanilla.
    Beat.
    Add eggs and beat after each.
    Pour batter into 2 greased cake pans or 1 loaf pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 25 minutes for layers, or 35 minutes for loaf cake.
