Skor Bars(Candy) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. butter
    10 oz. bag pecan halves
    12 oz. bag milk chocolate chips
Preparation
    Heat butter and brown sugar to 308\u00b0 on candy thermometer (hard crack) over medium heat.
    Pour caramel layer over pecans that are placed in single layer in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips on top; spread as they melt.
    Cool for 3 to 4 hours.
    Flip out of pan and break into pieces.
