Pickled Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. water
2 c. cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice

Preparation

Bring ingredients to a boil.
Add beets.
Cool, cover and refrigerate.
