Mamaw'S Soup(Healthy And Kids Love It!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground turkey or beef
    chopped onion dried flakes (a few) or fresh
    1 1/2 to 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    2 c. elbow macaroni
    2 cans red kidney beans
    1 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Brown turkey; add onion after browned.
    Add tomato sauce and beans (having been whizzed in blender until smooth).
    Add chili powder.
    Cook 15 minutes, then add enough water to get 1/2 pot. (I use a Dutch oven-style pot.) Bring to boil, then add the elbow macaroni.
    Cook on medium until macaroni is done.
    (It's really grandma's mild chili with the beans pureed.)
