Mandel Skorpor(Swedish Rusks) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 beaten egg
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla or almond flavoring
Preparation
    Cream the butter and cream until very light.
    Add beaten egg and flour which has been sifted with baking powder.
    Add milk and flavoring. Work together well.
    Spread in 2 bread pans (flat loaves).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 30 minutes.
    Cut in oblong strips while warm and place in oven with heat off to dry.
