Pizza By The Yard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unsliced loaf French bread
    1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 c. green onion, finely chopped
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano (crushed)
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 tomatoes (sliced)
    1 green pepper (cut in rings)
    4 oz. sharp processed American cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Cut loaf in half lengthwise. Combine tomato paste, Parmesan cheese, onion, oregano, salt and 1/8 tsp. pepper. Add meat; mix well. Spread on each loaf halves. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Remove from oven; top with tomato slices and green pepper rings. Sprinkle cheese over tomatoes. Bake for 5 minutes.
