Mom'S Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) jar popcorn (Orville's is best!)
    2 sticks butter
    1 box brown sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Pour popped popcorn into a large pan (turkey roaster).
    You can add pecan pieces of Spanish peanuts to popcorn.
    Boil for 5 minutes the butter, brown sugar and Karo syrup.
    Take off of fire. Add the vanilla and soda.
    Pour over popcorn and stir thoroughly. Bake at 220\u00b0 for several hours.
