Plain Good Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1/3 c. onions, finely chopped
    2 Tbsp. snipped parsley
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground sage
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef or preferably 1 lb. ground beef and 1/2 lb. ground veal
    1/2 c. catsup
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Combine eggs and milk; stir in bread crumbs, onion, parsley, salt, sage and pepper.
    Add meat and mix well.
    Pat mixture into an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours. Remove from oven and spoon off excess fat.
    Combine catsup, brown sugar and dry mustard and spread over meat loaf.
    Return to oven for 10 minutes.
