Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 3/4 c. hot tap water
Preparation

In ungreased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan, mix flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Mix in milk, oil and vanilla with fork until smooth.
Stir in nuts.
Spread smoothly in pan.
Sprinkle with brown sugar and remaining 4 tablespoons cocoa. Pour hot water over batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Great topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
