Mile Branch Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            1 c. Mile Branch cornmeal
 
1 c. plain flour
1/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. milk
1/4 c. lard or cooking oil
Preparation
- 
                            Mix dry ingredients in large bowl.
 
Add egg, milk and lard. Stir until mixed.
Pour in greased iron skillet.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for about 25 minutes.
