Marinara Sauce By Miriam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can plain tomatoes
    1 medium can tomato sauce
    1 medium onion, minced
    2 cloves garlic
    1 tsp. oregano
    3 to 4 tsp. grated Romano cheese
    salt and pepper
    olive oil
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in olive oil.
    Place plum tomatoes in blender and blend so there are some pieces; do not puree.
    Add this and add other ingredients to pan.
    Cook 2 hours on low heat.
    This sauce is delicious over any variety of pasta and is also wonderful with Veal or Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken Cacciatore*.
