Ingredients

large mild onions
2 c. milk
3 well beaten eggs
flour (self-rising)
cooking oil
salt
Preparation

Select large mild onions.
Slice them thin and separate into rings.
Combine milk and eggs in shallow pan.
Dip onion rings into it and make sure each is wet.
Lift onion rings out; coat with flour.
Fry in deep fat until light golden brown.
Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt.
