Festive Fudge Filled Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. quick oats (uncooked)
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. melted margarine
    2 Tbsp. vegetable shortening
    1 1/2 c. M&M's plain candies
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
Preparation
    Combine oats, flour, nuts, sugar, soda and salt.
    Mix well. Add margarine; mix until dry ingredients are thoroughly moistened and mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    Reserve 1 1/2 cups.
    Press remaining crumb mix onto bottom of greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
